Drama Club

A CREATIVE COMMUNITY FOR YOUNG PERFORMERS WHO WANT TO GO BEYOND THE STAGE.

The Studio B Drama Club:

Designed for students ages 9–15 who have participated in at least two productions or classes with us in the past 2 years and are eager to deepen their involvement in the arts.

This club provides a unique opportunity to build community with fellow theater enthusiasts while exploring new aspects of performance and production. Members take part in specialized workshops led by guest instructors, covering areas such as costume design, character development, improvisation, scenic painting, and more. Beyond skill-building, the club emphasizes service and engagement—recent projects have included supporting local organizations like Lovepacs and creating promotional videos for North Texas Giving Day

Members also enjoy attending Studio B productions together (when they aren’t on stage themselves) and experiencing local professional performances, such as their group trip to see The Lion King. The Drama Club is perfect for young performers who simply can’t get enough of theater and want to connect, learn, and grow both on and off the stage.

Past activities have included character development, improvisation, stage makeup, dance, and vocal performance, as well as technical skills such as scenic painting, lighting programming, costuming, and prop making.
