Auditions & Productions
Q: How can I audition for a show?

A: A cold reading means you’ll be given a script excerpt at the audition and asked to perform it without having had prior rehearsal or memorization.
Q: Who is eligible to audition?
A: Eligibility varies by production. For example, for Descendants: The Musical, participants should be between ages 8 and 16 (or as stated on the specific show page).
Q: Do I need previous experience to audition?
A: Not necessarily. We welcome performers of all levels. Each production’s audition page will state if experience is preferred or required.
Drama Club & Ongoing Programs
Q: What is the Drama Club?
A: Drama Club is a special program for ages 9–15 who have participated in at least two Studio B activities in the past year. It provides deeper engagement through workshops (costume design, scenic painting, improv, etc.), service projects, and group outings to shows.
Q: How often does Drama Club meet?
A: Meeting frequency varies based on schedules and guest instructors. We aim to diversify topics and avoid repetition.
Q: Do participants in Drama Club also take part in shows?
A: Yes. Drama Club members may be cast in productions, attend shows together when not performing, or join outings to local theaters.
